An opulent vintage kimono in shades of red, white, green and gold.  

Amazingly detailed floral design, with lavish embroidery in gold thread. 

Fully lined in silk.

Provenance:  This kimono is from the collection of a former lecturer in textiles, who accumulated his treasured pieces during extensive travels in the middle and Far East in the late 1960s - early 1970s.  Unfortunately the paper records have been lost, so no more information is now available.
